Welcome..Operation Blessing!! Dear Friends, Hullo there! Greetings to you! Thank you for your care and prayer. As part of our thanksgiving to God for His faithfulness to us these 30 years, we invited OPERATION BLESSING (from 700 CLUB ASIA - the longest running TV program here in the Philippines!) to come with their medical and dental mission to help the poor and sick in our community - all free. We made a big streamer(banner) to hang outside and hired some extra chairs, arranged Doctor's tables and made labels for each area. The main venue was our new Basketball Cover court. The day turned out fine..a big plus in the rainy season! Altogether we had 800 people including our school children and special children.. We cooked 8 big pots of arrozcaldo (chicken in ginger soup) which was all consumed! The children also enjoyed face painting, drawing, a special movie in our toolroom, and a mascot. The local pastors handled a Prayer and Counselling Center. Many appreciated the prayer and felt better and many made first time commitments to Christ and are being followed up by the ones who counselled them. Several people expressed their gratitude, and asked on the way out..when we will have the next one!!A week or two later, it was shown on TV and we have received a small CHILDREN'S GLOBAL SUMMITI, Dianne, and Rio (Asst Director) attended this conference in Malaysia Oct 15-22 for children's ministries. 30 nations were represented and each had an hour's presentation including prayer etc. Wonderful unity, and we were encouraged and challenged. The FGA church also were most kind. It was blessing to see that our simple little lessons and stories from the past (many made by Aunty Beryl), are going into China, Vietnam etc and leading many children to Jesus!*********** VISITORSA Korean deaf group came in September and ministered to our deaf. Also John Bayliss from New Zealand came for healing meetings in the Philippines. Grace reports from their church."Two hours before the church meeting began there was a heavy rain. We prayed for it to stop and it did. About 80 people attended. Many were filled with the Holy Spirit and healed. A 16 year old boy named Dennis, lives close to the church. He has been deaf and mute since birth. He was not able to go to school because of that. He came and when Brother John prayed for him, everybody was amazed because he reponded with a noise. We are teaching him to talk!" Dear Friends, We, the Boniel family through this simple letter, hope to express our deepest gratitude and million thanks to you all who joined us in pain and sorrow. No words can say what is in our hearts for thanking you. As a result of Jared's death, a number of his friends & schoolmates came to know the Lord and accepted Him as their saviour and Lord. From time to time they visit us and see Jared's urn in the cabinet. By the grace of God, we will finally overcome this hardest and biggest testing we encountered in our life.Ptr Nathan,Charie,Tan-tan & Adriel ----ooo---- Ptr Jonas Manuel (graduate batch 1995) sent us news from Pinukpok, Kalinga Province. "I enjoy ministry here. Again we planted another church. I ride a mountain bike in the mountains to reach them - more than 30 adults and 20 plus children. 3 times their crop was destroyed by typhoon. Sometimes they eat twice a day only (banana and root crops). Pls pray for them."McRae Center

 1. Visitor's Car Park 2. Play Parks (the one for bigger kids - ongoing) 3. Hebron Christian College/Upstairs housg 1997 4. Future Auditorium 5. Hebron Center For Disabled (1999) 6. Hebron Children's Home (2001) 7. Basketball Cover Court (2004) 8. Two staff housing units (2002 and 2003) 9. Generator Shed, Garage & Workshop (2005) Let us claim this Bible verse given to us after the fire in 1997: (Haggai 2:9)"and the glory of the latter house will be greater than the former house." | Back in year 2000 we printed this little map on the left as our Restoration Hebron Building Plan after the fire. Would you believe it is now almost completed, and better than we could have imagined!!! Except for one!!. And its the BIG one!! We need an auditorium, canteen/dining area and toilet blocks that would cater for towards 500 people for our school programs, seminars, camps and hiring groups. Included would be CBM office (at present very cramped!), Training and Resources Bookroom/office, classroom and a dormitory for students to stay, and a high school area for the deaf children. Also a gymnastics room and a Music room. The building needs to look GOOD, as well as fit in with the other 2 buildings each side. We feel to call it after our Founding Directors Uncle Charlie and Aunty Beryl McRae who lived here from 1975-1990, died here, and worked and prayed so hard to see this work for children develop. The approximate cost will be P8 million pesos ($USD145,000)!! We actually have about ¼ of that now! |
Notes - Thanksgiving for answered prayer for the Operation Blessing team and the great day we had together serving the community.
- It's farewell and thank you to Mr Jun Ramones, who has been Guidance Counsellor in the school and before that Houseparent in the Children's Home from 1986. He is now working full-time in the telephone counselling handled by 700 Club Asia.
- Let's pray for Jonas's new church in Kalinga, that somehow their needs will be supplied.
| - We have experienced our first investiture for the school into Scouting. All Grade 1-6 children were invested as either Star Scouts, Girl Scouts, Kab Scouts or Boy Scouts. A very meaningful ceremony.
- Please pray for me, Dianne, as again I make my way to Australia and New Zealand visiting friends and family I will be back here Jan 9.
- To all of you A Very Happy and Safe Christmas!! From CBM Family.
